This Final Major Project showcases the redesign of a French Riviera villa, where classic European elegance meets Mediterranean charm and tropical colonial warmth. AP Interiors has envisioned a luxurious and inviting space that honours the villa’s grand architectural heritage while introducing a refined blend of global influences. Drawing inspiration from historic estates, the design features ornate moldings, intricate ironwork, and grand chandeliers, softened by natural textures, botanical motifs, and a rich palette of deep greens and warm neutrals.
The result is a harmonious balance between structured sophistication and relaxed coastal living. With a strong emphasis on indoor-outdoor flow, the villa celebrates its coastal setting through expansive windows, arched doorways, and open-air terraces. Antique-inspired furnishings and organic materials further elevate the space, creating a sense of understated luxury. This project exemplifies AP Interiors’ commitment to crafting timeless residential environments that seamlessly integrate tradition, nature, and a sense of place.
COTSWOLD EXTENTION
This newly renovated kitchen, designed for a young family nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds countryside, was created in collaboration with John Lewis of Hungerford. AP Interiors envisioned a warm and welcoming heart of the home, an open, social space where family life could unfold with ease and elegance. The design focuses on fostering connection, encouraging both everyday functionality and relaxed gatherings.
Inspired by the calming tones and textures of the English countryside, the space features soft neutral hues, shaker-style cabinetry, and natural materials such as oak and stone. Large windows invite in natural light, enhancing the airy atmosphere and strengthening the connection to the surrounding landscape. Subtle detailing, layered lighting, and open sightlines into the dining and living areas create a seamless flow throughout the home.
This kitchen balances beauty and practicality, offering a timeless setting for everything from busy weekday breakfasts to slow Sunday afternoons. It reflects AP Interiors’ commitment to designing spaces that are not only aesthetically refined but deeply rooted in the rhythm of modern family life.
